Cherokee Gets $100M Boost
At Tuesday night's commission meeting, the chairman announces a project that will begin this fall.
The also announced that:
Water Tank Road at State Route 20 is closed until Thursday.
Roscoe Collette Road inside Dawson County is closed until Sunday.

Cherokee County automatically gets a permanent seat on the governing board of the Metropolitan North Georgia Water Planning District now that its population has surpassed the 200,000 mark. The district develops regional plans to protect water quality and water supply.
