Ava's Accomplishments: Ava makes straight A's in the classroom, but that's not all this feisty young lady has up her sleeve. Currently, you can catch her on the basketball court enjoying another undefeated season as a Liberty Lion.
"Ava is a tenacious defender," said Brian Beard, second-grade basketball coach. "She always gives 100 percent and is an all around good sport. Ava is contagious with fun and enthusiasm. She makes people smile, and I am glad to have her on our team."

In the summer, Ava swims competitively for the Bridgemill Barracudas. Last summer, she was given the Coaches Award for all her hard work in the water. Every fall, Ava enjoys being on the sidelines of the football field as part of the Woodstock Junior Wolverines cheer team.
Ava's Key to Awesomeness: "Ava has always been a high energy, fun loving, and social girl. She wants to be involved in as many activities as she can," said her mom, Deanna Zaner.
But, Ava's activeness may also have something do with just trying to keep up with her brother, Walker, and step-brothers Evan and Dillion. Just like Ava, all of the boys are involved in sports, love music and keep active social lives.
"It's pretty cool how Ava laughs uncontrollably at my weird jokes," Evan said.
Walker thinks "Ava is fun because she's very lovable, silly, and easy to get along with."
And, it was just in early November that Ava was burning up the dance floor with Dillion at their parents' wedding.
All-in-all, it looks like this young lady already has it made in life with three older brother's on her side.
