Originally from Rochester, New York, I knew at a young age that reporting the news was my calling. As editor of the prestigious "Burnett Gazette," I built a reputation of integrity and showed a willingness to dive into investigative pieces at the age of 8 -- which happened to be about double my newspaper's circulation. Since then, I have sharpened my proverbial journalistic pencil at the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Georgia. I plan to graduate in May with a degree in newspapers and a minor in sociology.
I grew up in Cherokee County and have lived here for 15 years. In 2006, I graduated from Woodstock High School. My favorite Canton-area places are QuikTrip, Lake Allatoona and every Mexican restaurant in town.
In my free time, you can find me listening to the musical stylings of the one and only Billy Joel, going to class in the beautiful Classic City and running my ink-stained hands through every newspaper I can get my hands on.
