Are you gearing up to let your fingers do the walking on Cyber Monday?

Cherokee County residents who didn’t want to brave the crowds on Black Friday or Small Business Saturday still have one more big chance to save courtesy of Cyber Monday. Holiday Garbage Pick Up Interruptions for Canton

Sanitation workers need a day off, too!

The City of Canton's Water-Sewer-Sanitation Department has announced a list of holiday-related garbage pick up interruptions. On holidays such as Thanksgiving and Christmas, garbage trucks will not run their routes. If your scheduled garbage pick up day falls on a holiday such as Christmas or Thanksgiving, your pick up will be delayed by one day. To accommodate the holiday stoppages, garbage trucks will run on Saturdays. For example, those with Thursday pick ups will not have their garbage taken on Thanksgiving, but on the day after. Those with Friday pick ups will have to wait until Saturday for their service, as the garbage trucks will be making Thursday's rounds on Friday. For a complete list of holiday-related service stoppages, please…

The retailer announces that it will open at 9 p.m. on November 22. Walmart already had planned to open at 8 p.m.

Walmart, the nation's largest retailer, already had announced that it will open at 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving. Target plans to offer deals that include an Apex 32-inch LCD TV for $147 and a Nikon digital camera for $99.99 for the earlier opening, according to the report. From 4:00 a.m. to noon on November 23, customers who spend $50 or more on clothing, accessories or home products will earn a $10 Target gift card to …
