Creekview Wrestling Takes Third At Hardaway Invitational
Grizzlies take third overall, while two Creekview wrestlers come home with tournament championships.
Columbus State University in Columbus, GA was the venue for the 35th Hardaway High School Invitational. 27 schools battled for team trophies and individual championships on Friday and Saturday. Creekview, who did not place last year, took third in the overall team competition. Prior to the championship round, they were only behind eventual second place winner, Whitewater, by 6 points. Smith's Station came out with the top trophy. Although short two wrestlers, the Grizzlies advanced a high percentage of wrestlers in the semi finals. Nine out of 12 would move on to the semis and eventually place in the top eight. Seven would medal in the top six.
