Bumble Bee Foods Recalls Some Tuna Products

The voluntary recall was issued on March 6. These items were sold nationwide between Jan. 17 and Feb. 28.

If you are fond of using canned tuna for your lunch dishes, you may want to take note of this news from Bumble Bee Foods, LLC. The seafood product company has announced it is recalling some of its tuna products. The US Food and Drug Administration reports on its website that Bumble Bee Foods, LLC, has issued a voluntary recall on specific codes of 5-ounce Chunk White Albacore and Chunk Light Tuna products. The recall was issued on March 6 because the products do not meet the company’s standards for seal tightness.
