Increased police presence at local schools will become part of everyday operations in wake of the Newtown, Conn., tragedy.

Despite the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre occurring a month ago, area school districts aren't quite ready to return to a sense of normalcy. Wow Monty.... I was just commenting on the article. In MY opinion CCSD is not protecting the children OR even the parents that volunteer their time at the school. How can CCSD tell parents there are procedures in place that require ALL exterior doors to be locked, when in FACT the doors are NOT locked?
