UPDATE (5:15 p.m.): According to a Canton Police Department spokesperson, both suspects claim to be from the Chattanooga, TN area. ORIGINAL STORY: Two men have been arrested by the Canton Police Department after allegedly falsely reporting a robbery of several thousand dollars. According to a department press release, officers responded to the 1400 block of Riverstone Parkway in the Riverstone Plaza Shopping Center just before noon after receiving a report of a robbery. Once there, officers met David Richardson, who alleged that he had been struck on the head by two white men and had been robbed of $8,000.
