Two Held Without Bond in Attempted Robbery
Both suspects were arrested yesterday after trying to rob Cherokee Bank.
Two suspects remain held without bond after they were arrested yesterday for an alleged carjacking and attempted robbery in Woodstock. Both Thomas Gasque, 21, of Decatur and Michael Moore, 21, of Stone Mountain are at the Cherokee County Adult Detention Center after they allegedly carjacked someone at Lowe's Home Improvement on Highway 92 and attempted to rob Cherokee Bank. Both men have been charged with armed robbery, criminal attempt to commit armed robbery and vehicle hijacking, said Cherokee Sheriff's Office Spokesperson Lt. Jay Baker. They were arrested by Georgia State Patrol troopers after being stopped in Cobb County. Woodstock Police Spokesperson Brittany Duncan said an alarm call from the bank was placed to the Cherokee …
