The Georgia Department of Labor’s (GDOL) Cobb-Cherokee Career Center and Goodwill of North Georgia will co-sponsor a career expo Friday, April 19, according to a recent press release. The expo will feature employers who are currently hiring, as well as there to discuss possible future employment opportunities with the job seekers. Goodwill of North Georgia is giving job seekers throughout the metro area the chance to connect with dozens of employers. Eight of the organization's career centers will host job fairs on Wednesday, Feb. 6, according to a recent company press release. Not far from Canton, employers will be on-site at the Woodstock and Cartersville locations recruiting workers for professional, warehouse and retail positions. The Woodstock center is located at 9425 Highway 92 in Woodstock. The Cartersville center is located at 929 Joe Frank Harris Parkway SE.
