Body Found Behind Canton Marketplace

Authorities are labeling the person's death as "suspicious"

The body of a 20 to 30 year old Hispanic man has been discovered behind the Canton Marketplace, says the Canton Police Department. According to the department, hunters called the police at 9:27 a.m. after they found a body in the woods behind the shopping center. The man had no identification on his person when he was discovered. A department press release says that detectives are investigating the death of this man, and have labeled his death "suspicious."  If you have any information that may help identify the man, the Canton Police Department asks you to call 911.

Reservations Filling Fast for Chick-fil-A Daddy-Daughter Date Night

Canton Marketplace and Riverstone Parkway Chick-fil-A restaurants are among 115 metro Atlanta locations participating in the Feb. 4 event.

On Saturday, Feb. 4, Chick-fil-A restaurants throughout metro Atlanta will host a father and daughter “Date Night.” The Canton Marketplace Chick-fil-A and the Riverstone Parkway Chick-fil-A are two of 115 participating locations. Chick-fil-A describes the event as an opportunity for fathers and daughters “to spend some time together while they enjoy dinner, great conversation and several special activities.” Reservations are required for the event. Northside Hospital-Cherokee Relocating

It has filed a Letter of Determination with the state’s Department of Community Health to move from Hospital Road to Highway 20, near the Canton Marketplace.

Buoyed by Cherokee's growing population and its own limitations in its current space, Northside Hospital-Cherokee plans to move to a new $250 million facility near Canton Marketplace by March 2015, officials announced Thursday. "Northside proposes to relocate the hospital to land owned by (the) hospital in a currently undeveloped area that will be known as Canton Place," spokesman Russ Davis said in a release. "The new site will have excellent visibility from major roads and thoroughfares, and there will be ample room for further expansion as the community’s needs grow. Unfortunately they cant get orders straight. Every time i call in an order they mess it up, i mean how hard is it to make pizza. When i spoke to the manager after getting the orders wrong four consecutive times, it did me no good, she said don't let it upset you, and would you like me to cancel your order.
