If these people are innocent until proven guilty then why is it thier business is being posted for…Read More everyone to see? potential employers dont care if they are innocent these people will be seen as guilty, and not given an opportunity because of these postings. Why not post those that are found guilty in a court of law

I have to agree with the negative reader comments. All you are currently showing are a bunch of…Read More pictures of people without names, charges, or residence pdfs. Your mug shot section has been the only page I look at through Patch on a daily basis, and now it's so screwed up the search function shows "no records found" when you input "Cherokee County mug shots". Don't fix it if it ain't broke!!!

"A very strong line of heavy winds and…Read More lighting passed through Cherokee County approximately 1 hour ago. The Cherokee Sheriff’s Office and Cherokee County Fire and Emergency Services have responded and continue to respond to numerous reports of trees down, trees on homes and power lines down. Power is out in several parts of Cherokee County.
We are currently assessing the damage and will continue to access the damage into tomorrow. We would like to encourage citizens to please stay off the streets if possible and stay away from any downed power lines.

"Tractor trailer spun out on 575 NB at…Read More Towne Lake. Amazingly, it hit nothing but became bogged down in the grass on the right shoulder and was blocking both lanes. Truck now removed and 575 reopened. No damage/no injuries.
3 reports of trees and/or power lines down. DPW addressing.
A couple of traffic signal lights came down on 92 near Main.
Overall, no significant damage or injuries reported. Fire, DPW, and PD addressing all issues. "

arresting a kid for drinking only hurts the families wallet even more than it already will. why not just turn them over to the parents?
And so this guy got lite at a bar and walked home.... got arrested.
goes to show you in this town just go ahead and put your hands behind your back because you are going to jail.
