The Salvation Army Thrift Stores fund the Adult Rehabilitation Services and aids the local community. Salvation Army Thrift Store & Service Center resells second hand and used merchandise donated by local residents. This charitable and non-profit organization employs some of the local people who are involved in its rehabilitative programs.

Canton's Salvation Army is located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains off exit 20 from I-575, left onto Riverstone Parkway then left onto Waleska St. It is in the same complex as O'Reilly's Autoparts and Quick Mart.
