Freedom Middle School

<p>Freedom Middle, which draws students from Liberty and Sixes Elementary Schools, takes a collaborative, team approach toward learning. There are four sixth grade teams, three seventh grade teams and three eighth grade teams that are supported by two counselors and two assistant principals.</p> <p>As a result, more than 98 percent of Freedom Middle students met or exceeded standards on the reading and language arts portion of the 2009 Criterion-Referenced Competency Tests. In math, more than 96 percent met or exceeded standards on the CRCT.</p>
