Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) is a volunteer organization that advocates for children who are victims of abuse and neglect. One volunteer is assigned to one child, and that volunteer represents the child throughout court proceedings and foster care placement. This is done to make sure the needs of the child are being met and that the child is always safe. The organization also advocates for the permanent placement of children in safe, loving homes.
