Canton Festival Of The Arts Starts Saturday

The festival, which raises money for the Cherokee Arts Center, will be held this weekend in Brown Park.

The popular Canton Festival of the Arts will return to Brown Park in downtown Canton on Saturday.

The 11th annual festival will be held between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Saturday, May 17 and Sunday, May 18.

Brown Park sits on East Marietta Street next to the Canton Police Department.

The show will feature an artist market with over 60 artists from nine different states; a Serenity Gardens, concessions and a beer and wine garden; an Interactive Children's Experience where kids can participate in various activities and live entertainment.

The event will feature works from talented artists and craftspeople from across the South and beyond.

This year's artist market will include exhibitors whose fine art mediums include oil, watercolor, fine blown glass, elegant and whimsical jewelry, decorative and functional pottery, sculpture and hand turned wood, among others.
