Canton Farmers Market Starts On Saturday
The 2014 season of the Canton Farmers Market kicks off at 8 a.m. Saturday at Cannon Park.
Canton residents will be able to venture out a little closer to home to purchase fresh, homemade products and food.
The 2014 season of the Canton Farmers Market will come to Cannon Park on Saturday, May 24. The market will be held from 8 a.m. to noon and will run each Saturday through October
The city plans to charge a vendor fee of $5 per week, which it says will offset the cost of port-a-johns, advertising and music.
The market will include live music, fresh baked goods and produce and arts and crafts from local vendors.
Some of the vendors coming this Saturday include: Cherokee Market Farm Fresh Produce, Souped Up, Dickey Farms, Popcorn Fusion, Wyatt's Woodworking, KE Kreations, Rooty's Pickles, Pearson Farms, Mama Rhonda's Delectable Delights (those are some of the BEST sweet potato pies), Scarlet's Dessert Solutions, Nana's Princess Boutique, Lovely Berlins Pork Skins and more, Miss Dee's Kitchen and Sassy Scarves.
