Turkey Shoot, Fall Festival This Week in Canton

We have your weekly roundup of what's happening this week in Canton.

As you get back into the groove of the work week, Canton-Sixes Patch will keep you updated on what's happening this week in Canton:

  • Tuesday is Election Day so if you have not voted early, be sure to cast your ballot for the Canton City Council and Senate District 14 races. Polls will be open between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.
  • A forum explaining the Affordable Care Act will be held on Tuesday at either 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Northside Hospital-Cherokee Conference Center. More information about the forum can be found here
  • Liberty Elementary School on Saturday will hold its Fall Festival from noon to 4 p.m. The festivities will include a petting zoo, rock wall, bungee trampoline, football combine, an inflatable obstacle course and several bounce houses, live performers and entertainers, vendors, and many other games and activities.
  • Cherokee's Got Talent will be held on Saturday at 6 p.m. at Elm Street Arts. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. Money raised will benefit the Elm Street Cultural Arts Village, Cherokee Association of REALTORS®
    and Habitat for Humanity — North Central Georgia. 
  • The Rotary Club of Cherokee County on Saturday will host its Turkey Shoot at 9 a.m. The event will be held at 1000 Cagle Drive. Visit Cherokeerotary.org for more information.
