Plays, Art Show in Canton-Sixes This Week

1. Catch a show at the Canton Theatre. This week, the Cherokee Theatre Company is performing the West End smash hit "The Mousetrap." Tickets for the event are $15.

2. Take in the art at the Cherokee Arts Center. The exhibition, entitled "Crosscut," features various artists' work in various mediums such as photography, charcoal drawing, and sculpture. 

3. Meet an author at FoxTale Book Shoppe in Woodstock. Lisa Wingate, author of, "The Prayer Box," will be at the book store at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 24. Get your copy of "The Prayer Book" signed!

4. See another play at the Cherokee Arts Center. On Friday and Saturday, The Stars Community Drama Troupe will perform "A Little Princess," an adaptation of the classic Frances Hodgson Burnett novel. 

5. Study for the GED at Hickory Flat United Methodist Church on Monday and Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m. The GED is changing formats soon and incomplete scores will be thrown out, so get that test taken ASAP!
