Five Things Happening in Canton, Cherokee This Week
From pumpkin painting to a bake sale, there's tons of stuff to see and do in Canton and Cherokee County this week.
1. Rekindle your love of God at the 4th Annual Fields of Faith, held at Tommy Baker Field at Cherokee High School on Wednesday, Oct. 9 at 6:30 p.m. Students who wish to strengthen their faith and walk closer to Jesus are encouraged to spend an evening on the field with their peers and spiritual leaders.
2. Hit the links for a good cause at the 2nd Annual Collins Dixon Bend Your Knees Golf Tournament at the Fairways of Canton on Monday, Oct. 7 at 10 a.m. Proceeds from the event will go towards charities which support families of children battling brain cancer.
3. Join the fun at the Community Christian School's Fall Yard and Bake sale on Friday, Oct. 11 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and from 8:00 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Oct. 12. Clothing, toys, and baked goods will be available for sale.
4. Paint a pumpkin at Paper.Scissors.Cake. Children's Art Studio in Woodstock on Friday, Oct. 11 at 2 p.m. The whole family can come together to create one memorable work of art! Prices vary depending on the size of canvas.
5. Get 20% off your senior citizen lunch at Guston's in Woodstock on Wednesday, Oct. 9. All you have to do is let the server know you would like your discount!
