Battle of The Bands, Theatre Shows This Week in Canton

We have your weekly roundup of what's happening this week in Canton.

As you get back into the groove of the work week, Canton-Sixes Patch will keep you updated on what's happening this week in Canton:

  • Early voting for the Canton City Council and Senate District 14 runoff elections starts today. Early voting will take place between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday Nov. 18; between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Tuesday Nov. 19 through Friday Nov. 22; and between 8:30 and 5 p.m. Monday Nov. 25 through Wednesday Nov. 27. 
  • Battle of the bands kicks off on Saturday Nov. 23 from noon to 6 p.m. at Cannon Park. The event will have music, food, drinks, and cornhole. There will be a 50/50 raffle to benefit Teasley Middle School Band and the Canton Main Street Program is taking instrument donations for the band program.
  • The Cherokee Arts Center on Friday and Saturday will host "Cards on The Table" presented by The Kings Academy at 7 p.m. both nights. Tickets are $10. 
  • Canton Theatre on Saturday will present "Stone Cold Country Christmas" at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 and $12. For more information, call (770) 704-0755.
