The Home Depot Builds Picnic Tables at Blankets Creek Trails

The company's stores in Holly Springs and Woodstock teamed up to build 12 picnic tables at the mountain bike trails.

The Home Depot recently banded together to donate $2,000 worth of lumber and fasteners to build picnic tables at Blankets Creek Mountain Bike Trails.

The company's stores on Old Highway 5 at Sixes Road in Holly Springs and Highway 92 in Woodstock teamed up for the project, which included the construction of 12 tables across the parking lot for the public to use at the park.

Blankets Creek consists of seven mountain bike trails, all ranging from beginner to expert level.

Last year, major renovations were done to the park, including increased-capacity parking lot, a re-aligned and paved entrance, four brand new restrooms/changing rooms, two new pavilions, a bike wash station and landscape and hardscape improvements.

The trail network is maintained by SORBA Woodstock, an all-volunteer nonprofit network made up of mountain bike trail enthusiasts.
