Cherokee Habitat Build Nears Completion of 3 More Homes

Volunteers on Saturday came from the Rotary Club of Windward, UPS and the Lutheran Coalition for Habitat.

Paint and caulk were in use by UPS volunteers and future homeowners at Villages at Park Creek near the Cherokee/North Fulton county line on Saturday morning, one of many days of homebuilding in the Habitat for Humanity North Central Georgia project.

The three homes being completed in the neighborhood were started in April in partnership with the Ramos, Laventure and Mwangi families. Volunteers on Saturday came from the Rotary Club of Windward, UPS and the Lutheran Coalition for Habitat.

The three homes will be dedicated Saturday, Aug. 10 at 9 a.m. open to the community.
