ATTENTION Cherokee County Voters. Are you supposed to vote?

Tuesday January 8 is a special election day for Georgia Senate District 21 and Georgia House District 21. Make your vote count.

This Tuesday (January 8) is a Special Election Day. Are you supposed to vote?

Because of the holidays and the timing of the special election, the newly re-apportioned Georgia Senate District 21 map has been poorly published.

Sean Jerguson and Brandon Beach are running for the vacated State Senate seat for District 21. The new district now includes part of densely populated North Fulton County. Your vote will determine who will represent almost half of Cherokee County in the Georgia State Senate. Your vote will count.

Georgia House district 21 will also elect a new representative for its vacated seat. The Georgia House District 21 map can be found in PDF format at:

Candidates for the District 21 Georgia House seat include Scott Turner, Kenneth Ashley Mimbs, Brian Laurens, and Natalie Bergeron.
