Fireworks Rescheduled; First Friday Postponed
These weather-related changes were announced Friday.
The fireworks show that was originally scheduled to take place on July 4 has been rescheduled to Sept. 1, according to authorities.
Canton Tourism, Inc. has confirmed that the company that puts on the annual fireworks show at the Riverstone Plaza Shopping Center has moved the rained-out Independence Day show to Sept. 1, the Sunday before Labor Day.
Additionally, the City of Canton has confirmed that July's First Friday event will be held on the second Friday of the month due to concerns over the forecast tonight.
July's "First" Friday event will be held on July 12.
