Fireworks at 7pm??? This is a typo, right?

DAWG - just thought the same thing...fireworks at 7pm does not make sense

The show runs from 7 to 9 p.m. Check the city of Canton's website: http://canton-georgia.com/

Just called the city and they said the website is incorrect. They won't shoot the fireworks until it is dark.

Not sure where you are getting your info from, Mandy. The fireworks show, which will include musical performances, will run from 7 to 9, according to Canton Main Street Program Director Ginger Garrard. It will be dark by 9.

Called the main line on their website...whoever answers the phone...
I understand you are reporting what they are reporting to you. I am only trying to point out that it will not be dark from 7-9 and for them to refer to that time as the fireworks show is a little misleading...how about concert concluding with fireworks at 9pm? Again...not your problem but worded improperly in my opinion.

"...concert concluding with fireworks at 9pm..." I agree Mandy, this type of wording would not be confusing.
