Weekend Pigskin Roundup: Season Ends for Warriors

Each Monday we'll take a look at what happened on the gridiron over the weekend in Canton-Sixes Patch.

Marietta 27, Cherokee 6 – Marietta scored on its first drive, and then scored all 27 of its points before could land on the scoreboard, according to the Cherokee Tribune.

Filling in for the injured Anthony Jennings, sophomore quarterback Jordan Mathis threw three touchdown passes Friday in Marietta’s regular-season finale. Cherokee’s lone score came on a Trey Butler 29-yard touchdown reception late in the game.

After winnings it's first game of the season Cherokee dropped nine-straight to finish the season 1-9.
