The Duals was bound to be a challenge for the wrestling team. With a hole in the lineup at the 126-pound weight class, and upperclassmen out with injuries, everybody had to step up. The freshmen had an outstanding showing, winning a combined 15 matches. Freshmen Nate Bridges (113 pounds) and Brock Tupman (220) went 4-1. Bridges had three pins out of five matches.
After a 43-29 victory over Walton, the Grizzlies fell to 31-41. Creekview's third round against Tift came down to the last match. After falling behind early, the Grizzlies battled back from a 28-32 deficit to take the match 34-32 with a pin from junior Justin Pettyjohn (160).
In round four, Creekview easily defeated 69-12.

The Grizzlies had a tough time getting started in the final round. Knowing their victory was assured, forfeited the last three matches.
Justin Pettyjohn (160) went 5-0 with three pins. Joseph Sorrentino (182) also went 5-0 with two pins. Nate Bridges (113) went 4-1 with three pins. And Blake Tupman (220) went 4-1 for the day.
