Grizzlies Beat Raiders In Triple Overtime

The Creekview Grizzlies came out on top in a Friday night triple overtime battle with the Riverwood Raiders

Creekview went down 7-14 after a Riverwood touchdown late in the 4th quarter.  Creekview battled back with a long drive and scored with only 8 seconds left in regulation play to tie it up and take it to overtime.

The Grizzlies immediately went on top with a Hayden Hall (6) pass to Connor Dulmage (5).  The Connor Fraiser Extra point was good to make it 21-14  The Raiders were next with a pass play to tie it up at 21.

The final overtime TD was scored by Grizzlies QB Hayden Hall with another keeper.  The 2 point conversion by Chandler Wold (18) was successful and turned out to be the final points scored for the night.  With 4th and long, the Raiders passed deep in the enzone.  The pass was complete, but well outside the back of the end zone.

With a 36-28 win, the full bleachers of Grizzly faithful cleared the stands and joined the victory speech of Head Coach Al Morrell to his playoff bound team.

The Grizzlies were able to make plays when they needed to in their Friday night victory.  In addition to good performances by Hall, Wold and others, the return of injured players Connor Dulmage (5) and Hunter Udall (21) may have made the difference when the game was on the line.

Creekview will have a post season state playoff game at home for the first time in their history.  They improve to 9-1 for the season
