Guns & Hoses 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run

Together with Cherokee County Fire Department (Hoses) and the County Sheriff’s Department (Guns), Cherokee Recreation and Parks Agency will be hosting its sixth annual 5K Run/Walk and Fun Run. This year will be in memory of Aleen Miller. The purpose of this run is to raise money for charity causes selected by both groups. Both groups have decided to give to The Hope and Light Foundation which helps children like Aleena, with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA). When registering, you will pick the team that you want to represent on race day and $5 of your fee will go towards this charity.  The team that has the most registrants will win a trophy.  Moisture-Wicking shirts will be made available in your race packet for all the  5K participants only. (Shirt size selections will be guaranteed for those that register by February 3rd ONLY).
