CHILL (Cherokee Hockey In-Line League, a non-profit corporation) is happy to announce that the county should have the basic repairs to the old Hockey Time rink finished by mid-September!
We are now opening registration for a youth "games only" league for the fall. This league is open to all experienced hockey players under the age of 18. Players will be grouped by age (under 10, 11 - 13, and 14 - 17) and will play pick-up style games 2 evenings per week (either Mon. / Sat. or Thurs. / Sat. depending on age group). Teams will be picked for each game from the available players. There will be no practices - players must know how to skate and how to play the game. Some age groups may be combined depending on the number of players registered.
The season will run from Sept. 26 - Nov. 19 (8 weeks) and the cost per player is $80. The registration form is attached, and can also be found on our website www.cherokeehockey.org.

Each player is required to have insurance through AAU (cost is $12 per player for 1 year). I will be sending out instructions on how to get your AAU number online - this information will also be available on the website. Registration deadline is Sat., Sept. 17.

You can also bring the registration form and payment to the first game. Either way, you must e-mail (amyanderson@windstream.net) by Sept. 17 with the player's name, age and AAU# so that we can add them to the roster for the correct age group. Times and days for the different age groups will be announced (via e-mail and the website) during the week of Fall Break.
