Creekview Sends Osborne Packing In 54-13 Victory

The Grizzly Den was full of fans ready for football Friday night and the Varsity Grizzlies did not disappoint.

The Osborne Cardinals were unable to ever get anything started to challenge Creekview. Β Although it took the Grizzlies until late in the first quarter to start scoring, TD's from Isaiah Rodgers (27), Connor Dulmage (5) and Garrett Lusk (13) would get things rolling in the first half to pull out to a comfortable 27-6 lead at half time. Β QB Kyle Wilkie (10) was in control and kept the Cardinals off balance with his ability to run or pass.

A slow start in the third quarter had Creekview ahead by only two scores after the Cardinals scored to make it 27-13. Β

The Grizzlies would pick up the pace with an immediate response to Osborne's TD with a 95 yard Dawson Ewers (4) kickoff return.

Soon after, a deflected Cardinals pass would end up in the hands of Connor Dulmage and result in another 6 points. This wouldΒ be topped off with another Ben McClellan (89)Β extra point. Β The score was now 47-13 Grizzlies.

Kevin Jones (2) would make the last touchdown of the evening. Β The extra point was good. Β Kicker Kaylie Artice (39) would score the extra point to make the final score 54-13

After the game, Head Coach Terry Crowder said "I think we are getting better every week. Β We put some things together and I'm just excited about this football team." Β

The Grizzlies travel to Sequoyah next week for one of the biggest rivalries of the year.
