Last Saturday was a good test for this week's upcoming Region Duals. The Grizzlies performed well even with a few areas in the lineup that could use improvement.
Creekview started with a 73-5 pounding over Dacula. Davis (113lbs), Slater (120), Goss (126), Merenda (145), Stewart (152), Coleburn (160), Sorrentino (182), O'Donnell (195), Saragusa (220) and Tupman (285) all finished with pins. McHugh (138) and Smith (170) also had wins.
Commerce would take the second round with a 39-19 win over the Grizzlies. This was a hard fought battle. Though the score might not reflect it, if not for some of the Grizzly veterans, it could have been an even greater margin of victory for Commerce. They would eventually make it to the finals and defeat Social Circle.
