Creekview Grizzlies Send Six To State Tournament

All six Creekview High wrestlers that went to sectionals will advance to the State Tournament this week

The Creekview Grizzlies traveled to Northside High School in Columbus last weekend to compete in the AAAA sectionals, and qualified to advance to the year's biggest event this week at the Arena at Gwinnett Center in Duluth. In order to advance to the state tournament, you must have a Top 8 finish. 

Sophmore Joseph Sorrentino led the Grizzlies with second place in the 170 pound weight class.  Nate Bridges (106) and Hunter Udall (152) both took home fourth place.  Cullen Castle (120), Michael Edwards (132) and Joe Hulen (138) all finished in fifth.

The State Tournament will be held Thursday-Saturday.
