Creekview Grizzly Blue and White Scrimmage Ends In Tie

New Head Coach Terry Crowder watched his Grizzlies battle it out against each other at the end of spring training. The game ended in a 21-21 tie.

Spring training at Creekview always ends with a scrimmage between the Grizzly blue and white squads.  Friday night's game was a crowd pleaser with both running and passing plays that showed the diverse game plan and talent that Creekview will bring in the fall.

After the game, new Creekview Coach Terry Crowder shared his take on the first two weeks of working with the team.  "Up to this point, I am just so proud of the kids, how they have responded to me, the two new coaches and the existing staff.  It's all come together seamlessly".

The Grizzlies definitely have a different look and pace on the field.  Fall will be an exciting time for the team and the fans.

When asked about the fall, Crowder was enthusiastic, but realistic as well.  "I am extremely excited about what we can accomplish with this football team.  In the fall, moving forward, we've got a long way to go.  The biggest improvement needs to come from our receivers.  How to run routes, but I think we've got 5 or 6 really good receivers and that's the key to our offense.  I think we have a chance to be extremely good".

Friday night was a great snapshot of what the fall may hold.  The Grizzlies looked good and should be a dominant team in 2013.
