Creekview Crushes Forsyth Central 47-14

The last regular home game at Creekview saw the defeat of the Bulldogs, a farewell to our seniors and a tribute to retiring head coach, Al Morrell.

Head Coach Al Morrell proudly watched as his Creekview Grizzlies improved to 7-1 on Friday by defeating Forsyth Central 47-14. Not only does Coach Morrell have the highest winning percentage of any coach in Cherokee County (with at least two seasons of play), but he is also coaching one of the top teams in the area for the 2012 season.

QB Hayden Hall (6) struck early and often.  Two running touchdowns and over 200 yards in the air kept the Bulldogs on the ropes.

RB's Connor Dulmage (5) and Chandler Wold (18) both added TD's to the Grizzly production.

WR Joey Noll (9) scored from over 35 yards out in the third quarter.

Defensively, the Grizzlies shut down the Bulldog offense for most of the game.  Defensive Tackle Joseph Sorrentino (38), gave the Bulldog's QB pressure all night and finished with 2 sacks.  DT Chris Mata (57), LB Trent Gilleland (39), DE Austin Weaver (55) also kept Central Forsyth on their heels all night.
