Cherokee Company Wants To Hire 24 New Employees

The Georgia Department of Labor will help Belnick, Inc., hire 24 workers at a recruitment event on Thursday.

The Georgia Department of Labor will help a Cherokee County-based company recruit workers for its operations.

The agency will assist Belnick, Inc., a company that manufactures office chairs and other furniture, in recruiting 24 workers for its plant that sits north of Canton.

The recruitment will be held from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, May 8 at its facility, located at 4350 Ball Ground Highway. 

The company is seeking experienced account managers, customer service representatives and warehouse clerks as well as forklift operators who must have at least 18 months of experience.

Due to federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations, applicants must be at least 18 years old.

Salaries are slated to start at $10 an hour.
