Reinhardt Recognizes 25 from Canton

Reinhardt University held Honors Day on Sunday.

Reinhardt University on Sunday highlighted some of its brightest students during the school's Honors Day program.

Nearly 130 scholars were recognized and a number of them were from Canton. 

  • Caleb Bagby, a fall 2011 graduate, was recognized as a Hugh Peterson Jr. Academic Scholar.
  • Holly Bates, a fall 2011 graduate, was recognized as an Academic Degree Program Award recipient for Organizational Leadership and as a Hugh Peterson Jr. Academic Scholar.
  • Amanda Anderson, a fall 2011 graduate, was recognized as an Academic Degree Program Award recipient for Psychology and as a Hugh Peterson Jr. Academic Scholar.
  • Cynthia Farmer, a fall 2011 graduate, was recognized as a Hugh Peterson Jr. Academic Scholar.
  • Wade Davis, a junior, was recognized as a Reinhardt University Academic Scholar.
  • Lily Freeman, a junior, was recognized as a Reinhardt University Academic Scholar.
  • Brianna Hendrickson, a junior, was recognized as a Reinhardt University Academic Scholar.
  • Crescent Jones, a junior, was recognized as a Hugh Peterson Jr. Academic Scholar.
  • Amanda Lam, a junior, was recognized as the School Student Achievement Award recipient for the McCamish School of Business and as a Hugh Peterson Jr. Academic Scholar.
  • Rachel Langston, a junior, was recognized as a Hugh Peterson Jr. Academic Scholar.
  • Daria Russell, a junior, was recognized as a Hugh Peterson Jr. Academic Scholar.
  • Teri Gorrell, a senior, was recognized as an Academic Degree Program Award recipient for Organizational Leadership.
  • Emily King, a senior, was recognized as an Academic Degree Program Award recipient for World Languages and Cultures.
  • Martie Richards, a senior, was recognized as an Academic Degree Program Award recipient for Interdisciplinary Studies.
  • Emily Burgess, a senior, was recognized as an Academic Degree Program Award recipient for Early Childhood Education and as a Reinhardt University Academic Scholar.
  • Kelsey Carl, a senior, was recognized as a Hugh Peterson Jr. Academic Scholar.
  • Tena Corr, a senior, was recognized as a Hugh Peterson Jr. Academic Scholar.
  • Wanda Cronauer, a senior, was recognized as a Hugh Peterson Jr. Academic Scholar.
  • Lauren Gates, a senior, was recognized as an Academic Degree Program Award recipient for Visual Communication an as a Hugh Peterson Jr. Academic Scholar.
  • Deena Hutson, a senior, was recognized as a Reinhardt University Academic Scholar.
  • Bonnie Medford, a senior, was recognized as the Outstanding Non-Traditional Student of the Year for 2012, which is only one of two overall awards given out by the University. She was also honored as a Hugh Peterson Jr. Academic Scholar.
  • Chad Rooks, a senior, was recognized as an Academic Degree Program Award recipient for Management and as a Hugh Peterson Jr. Academic Scholar.
  • Elisabeth Shabi, a senior, was recognized as the School Student Achievement Award recipient for the School of Arts and Humanities and as a Reinhardt University Academic Scholar.
  • Dawn Stewart, a senior, was recognized as a Reinhardt University Academic Scholar.
  • Kelsey Syers, a senior, was recognized as an Academic Degree Program Award recipient for Middle Grades Education and as a Reinhardt University Academic Scholar.
