Marlow Trial Forces School Board To Cancel Training
The Cherokee County School Board scheduled training to occur at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, April 24.
The false statements trial of Cherokee County School Board member Kelly Marlow has forced the board to cancel its training session.
The whole board training, which was set to start at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, April 24, has been canceled as District 1 member Marlow and her two associates are on trial for lying to the police when they said Superintendent Dr. Frank Petruzielo tried to run them over last summer.
The training will be rescheduled, school district spokesperson Barbara Jacoby said. Testimony will continue on Thursday and is most likely to continue on Friday.
