Shae's key to awesomeness: Shae's future dreams include becoming a speech pathologist. Susan Buice, a Cherokee High English teacher, doesn't think her former student will have any problems achieving that goal. Shae "is one of the most dedicated students I have ever taught," Buice said. "She is tireless in her efforts both for school and for her church."
Shae's parents, John and Sherry Stevens, couldn't agree more. "Throughout high school, Shae has been an incredibly dedicated student," graduating fifth in her class, they said. "This dedication was based on determination, integrity and a natural desire to learn. As her parents, we are proud of her achievement's and the individual that she has become."
