Creekview Grizzlies Shut Out Cambridge Bears For Big Homecoming Win

The Homecoming parade started the day at Creekview High School followed by the Grizzly faithful cheering their team on to a 41-0 victory

The Grizzly Den, packed as always for Homecoming, saw the Creekview defense shut out Cambridge, while the offense used both the run and an aerial assault to defeat the Bears 41-0.

A Grizzly fumble recovery at about the 20 yard line led to the first points on the board with an explosive Isaiah Rodgers (27) touchdown in the first quarter.

Creekview's Dylan Harrison (20) quickly followed up with an interception to bring it back inside the 10 yard line of Cambridge.  On 3rd and long, QB Hayden Hall (6) threw a strike to WR Connor Dulmage (5) to put the Grizzlies on the board again.  Kicker Connor Frasier (36) put through his second of the night to make it 14-0.

RB Chandler Wold (18) was next with a spectacular 60+ yard run for a TD to make it 21-0.

Finally, before the half, QB Hayden Hall (6) would hand off to RB Will Kirby (26) to give Creekview a very comfortable 28-0 lead going into halftime.

The Grizzlies struck again on their first possession in the third quarter with a Wold touchdown to make it 34-0. A bad snap caused Frasier to miss his only kick of the night.

Creekview sealed the deal with another Harrison interception with 1:15 left in the game for a 50+ yard touchdown.

The Grizzlies improve to 6-1.  They host Forsyth Central next week.
