Clayton, Creekview Name Top Teachers

1. Susan Harris, who teaches sixth grade language arts and social studies, has been named 's Teacher of the Year. "She has taught in three Georgia counties, seven schools and in grades spanning kindergarten through 11th grade," district spokeswoman Barbara Jacoby said.

2.  has also announced its Teacher of the Year, special education science instructor Kerri Schmitt. Schmitt, who has taught at Creekview since August 2005, is also the head coach of the girls soccer team.
