Cherokee Educational Foundation Launches T-Shirt Travel Contest

The Cherokee County School District employee who wears his or her shirt between May 31 and Aug. 4 at the location furthest from Cherokee County will win a $100 Visa gift card.

The Cherokee County Education Foundation has put a call out for photos of Cherokee County School District employees wearing their foundation 2014 T-shirts as they travel during summer break.  

The school district employee who wears his or her shirt at the location furthest from Cherokee County will win a $100 Visa gift card co-sponsored by foundation partner, Credit Union of Georgia, and Board President William G. Hasty Jr. 

Entries must be received at cceducationalfoundation@gmail.com by 5 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 4.

Photos must have be taken between May 31 and Aug. 4. 

The email needs to include the photo and a description that notes: the wearer’s first and last name; where he or she teaches/works in school district; the city, state and country where the photo was taken; and the date the photo was taken.

Distance will be measured from the foundation’s office at 221 W. Main St., Canton, Ga. 30114 using the shortest route available on Mapquest.

Entries will be posted on the foundation’s Facebook page as they are received; the winner’s photo also will be used on the Foundation website and in a media release.
