student and Canton resident Gary Hone won a Southeastern Regional Emmy Award over the weekend.
Hone won in student production—news for the film From Rescue to Release, which documents the bird rescue program.
He shot the film for the college's advanced video project class. Students spent a semester completing a long-form production, from conception to post-production, and were judged on organization, visual storytelling, lighting, audio, editing and graphics.
Hone recently produced a report on the for Canton-Sixes Patch.
