Battling Bullies

On National Stop Bullying Day, Liberty Elementary fifth graders offer their perspective.

Today is National Stop Bullying Day. Bullying is the theme of the February edition of The Pride's View, 's newspaper. The paper will be published at the end of the month, but newspaper sponsor Kim Costa supplied Canton-Sixes Patch with a sample of one of the articles (see attached PDF).

And don't forget to turn the radio dial to WVEE-FM 103.3 tonight. V-103's Ryan Cameron will stop the music from 6 to 8 p.m. and host a town hall meeting on the topic. The meeting will feature Monique Rivarde, the mother of the Bobby Tillman, the Douglas County teen who was randomly stomped to death at a November 2010 house party while others just watched.
