2. Chattahoochee Tech will offer a new, clinical laboratory technology program at the Canton campus in fall 2012. "It is the first health science program to be based at the new campus," school spokeswoman Rebecca Long said. "Applications, testing, and information sessions will all be available starting this winter and spring." Long will have more details at 8 a.m.

3. It's the second day of a visit from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) and the Council on Accreditation and School Improvement (CASI). Officials are in town this week to evaluate the and determine its accreditation status. Their findings will be announced during a called Board of Education meeting scheduled for 3 p.m. Wednesday.

4. Canton-Sixes Patch is looking for its next Prep Athlete of the Week. was last week's winner.
