Alexis' Accomplishments: "Alexis participates in the AIM program at her school, as well as chorus," said her mom, Holly Boatright. "She also plays the flute. Alexis loves to sing and read. She also is involved in giving of her time to others. She participates in Operation Christmas Child each year by filling shoe boxes for children in other countries so that they may receive a special gift during the Christmas season. She also worked with her church, , this past spring to put together Easter baskets for children in foster care in our community. She also serves as an acolyte at Birmingham UMC."

Alexis' Keys to Awesomeness: "Alexis is a hard working student who sets her sights on a goal and works hard to achieve it," her mom said. "She always gives it her best. She is loyal and has a giving heart to those around her in need."
