Canton City Council Run-Off Election

I've been asked several times lately about the upcoming run-off election for Canton City Council. So here's the information, if you have further questions please visit the website of Cherokee County Elections office, or call them at 770-479-0407. Canton City Council Wards 1 and 3 will have run-off elections beginning on November 18th, as well as the State Senate District 14.

Early voting, will take place at Cherokee County Elections office, 
400 E. Main St. Canton, GA. 
The dates and times are:
Monday, November 18th,  9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Tuesday-Friday, November 19th-22nd, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Monday - Wednesday, November 25th, 26th and 27th, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

No voting on Monday December 2nd and no Saturday voting this time. 

Regular Election Day is Tuesday, December 3rd, and you will vote at your assigned county precincts, 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Ward 1 Candidates are Sandy McGrew and Clint Weatherby
Ward 3 Candidates are John Rust and Farris Yawn
State Senate Candidates are Matt Laughridge and Bruce Thompson

You are eligible to vote in a run-off even if you did not vote in the general election. 

It's very important that you go back out and participate in the run-off election, and support your candidate one more time. Your vote counts!!!
