Wondering why all those trees along the Interstate 575/Sixes Road interchange have come down?

A nearly $8 million project to reconstruct the interchange has begun, Georgia Department of Transportation spokesman Mohamed Arafa said Monday.

Don't worry. The impact on your commute will be minimal. Much of the work, which will last until March 2013, will take place at night.
