Thanksgiving Week Closings
Don't try to head to these places on Thanksgiving Day.
As your prep for Thanksgiving, here are a few closings to keep in mind:
- Schools. schoolchildren are off this week. School resumes Mon., Nov. 28.
- Grocery stores. While all Publix locations will have regular hours the day before Thanksgiving, they will be closed on the actual holiday. Canton has three locations: , and .
- Transportation. The observes Thanksgiving and the day after the holiday.
- Trash. Only Thursday and Friday customers will be affected. Waste Management will pick up Thursday customers' trash on Friday and Friday customers' trash on Saturday.
- Libraries. The will close early on Wednesday at 5 p.m. It will be closed all day Thursday and Friday.
- Government offices. offices will be closed Thursday and Friday. The will be closed on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. It will reopen at 8 a.m. Mon., Nov. 28.
